Majid Hussain
Born and bred in Sheffield, UK, I am now a man of the world. I took a gap year, after finishing my bachelors, which ignited my passion of traveling, which goes hand in hand with my other passion, which is teaching. Like any PE teacher, I am a big sport enthusiast, where my main sports that I have competed in are Football, Cricket and Muay Thai.
My previous teaching experiences were in an IB school, in KL, Malaysia, where I taught both the PYP and MYP curriculum and as the Director of Sports and Head of Department at a UK curriculum in an International School in Cairo, Egypt. My current role is back in KL, Malaysia, as a High School PE teacher, teaching the UK national curriculum. I still remain passionate and positive of delivering quality physical education to all my students, so it can have an impact on their life, like it has on mine.

This website is an online portfolio, with the aim of sharing practices that have been both successful and unsuccessful. I initially started this website to help other practitioners understand the IB, as I really struggled to understand how it worked, especially the documentation side to things. However, now I am teaching the UK National Curriculum and want to continue sharing. The process of sharing my materials and ideas online helps me reflect on my teaching, with the aim of sharing and connecting with other practitioners.
